  • Welcome to my blogsite!

A website and blog all in one, making it easier for you, as a client, to see everything in one place.

I am a wife to a wonderful husband & mom to two incredible children-Leah & Jake. As you will see my style is all about capturing the real child with natural smiles. I focus on showcasing their true personality & expressions, not having a child sit still and say 'cheese'. I will laugh and play games with your child while striving to have our sessions stress free and fun for all.

I've been in business for over 6 years.

Sessions are on location or at your home using the available natural light. I am located in Northern Virginia & book sessions for the entire DC metro area.

The ‘U’ Family | Northern Virginia Family Photographer

This family drove over 45 miles from Fredericksburg to come see me-I feel so honored. Yes another 2 year old, I tend to get a lot of 2 year old clients and to tell you the truth I LOVE THEM! Something about the 2-4 year old age-maybe because they love all my silly jokes and usually I can guarantee some great genuine smiles.

Fine Art Canvas Giveaway

It’s a giveaway! Just because. Well and I love all my current fans and clients. Plus these images are so fun and bright. I hope to make your day fun and bright whenever you look at them hanging in your house.

I originally took these images to put in Organic Bloom ornament frames-made a rainbow for a friends daughter:

But the small size just didn’t have that ‘wow factor’…

The winner will get to decide which image they want in their house. The Orange in Water or the Colored Pencils in Water. If I get over 500 entries (each person has a chance to earn 5 entries) than I will pick TWO winners and give them both away!

Your prize will be a 16×20 Gallery wrapped canvas. Here is a quick iPhone photo of your two choices (really does not do them justice).

So make sure you tell all your friends about this awesome giveaway. Share this blog post. Share on Facebook. Tweet about it. Pin this. Etc…

Very simple to enter. The contest is open until next Thursday evening at 11:00pm and I will announce next Friday.

7 Months Old Sweet ‘C’ | Reston VA Children’s Photographer

This mom was so sweet she contacted me looking for a new photographer as they were new to the area, after looking at my website she decided I would understand what was important to capture. I was thrilled that the images images on my site were conveying exactly what I find important in photos-children being themselves, just slightly ‘posed’, capturing their personality big bright eyes using natural light.

Thanks mom for entrusting me to capture your sweetie, she was so funny-for the first 20 minutes of the session she just stared at me smiling, I think I mesmerized me or something:)
